Digital Electronics and Microprocessors
5 ECTSIntroduces digital circuit design, logic systems, and microprocessor architecture, providing the building blocks for embedded systems and computing applications.
Signal Processing and Communication Systems
5 ECTSExplores the theory and application of signal processing techniques and communication system design, covering topics central to modern wireless and mobile technologies.

Industrial Work Experience Placement
30 ECTSIn third year, students complete taught modules in semester one and undertake an industrial work experience placement in semester two, including skills training for placement applications.
Final Year Project
20 ECTSA year-long capstone project in the fourth year where students apply their knowledge to a substantial engineering challenge. This module is a mandatory pass requirement for graduation.
