Program Overview: Liberal Arts B.A./MBA at Manhattan University
The Liberal Arts B.A./MBA at Manhattan University is a five-year dual-degree program that allows students to earn both a Bachelor of Arts in one of twelve liberal arts majors and a Master of Business Administration. Offered jointly by the Kakos School of Arts and Sciences and the AACSB-accredited O'Malley School of Business, this program combines the critical thinking and cultural knowledge of a humanities education with the practical business acumen of an MBA.
Students complete six prerequisite business courses during their undergraduate years, qualifying them for a minor in business while building the foundational knowledge required for MBA-level coursework. Seniors with an overall GPA of at least 3.0 who have made significant progress on these prerequisites receive conditional admission to the MBA program and may begin taking select MBA courses during their senior year.
Located in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx, Manhattan University provides direct access to New York City's unparalleled internship and career opportunities. With small class sizes averaging fewer than 25 students and a strong experiential learning component, this program prepares graduates to enter the workforce with both the soft skills of the liberal arts and the hard skills of business leadership.
