Overview
Anaesthesia technicians are auxiliary medical staff who assist the doctor in performing anaesthesia procedures in surgery, apply medical methods related to anaesthesia and resuscitation procedures according to the doctor's instructions, and perform important tasks in the preparation of surgical teams.
The aim of our program is to train anaesthesia technicians with the skills to prepare the patient before surgery, assist the anaesthesiologist during surgery, and to provide patient control and monitoring after surgery. In our degree program, with its exceptionally skilled academic staff and technological infrastructure, we work with our students to produce a qualified workforce in the health sector.
Graduates of our program earn the title "Anaesthesia Technician". KTO Karatay University students extend their clinical skills in the medical skills laboratories and prepare well for the profession. Our graduates are capable of applying the necessary medical methods to anaesthetize the patient in all types of operations through the acquisition of the title of "Anaesthesia Health Technician" as per the doctor's instructions. Our students can work in public hospitals, training and research hospitals and university hospitals if they pass the public staff selection examination, or can work in private hospitals if they fulfil the necessary requirements.
