İzmir Tınaztepe University (İZTÜ) is a private, health-focused university located in the Buca district of İzmir, Turkey. Founded on May 18, 2018, by the Ses Health, Education and Sports Foundation under Law No. 7141, it is the only university in the Aegean region with a dedicated health theme.
The university benefits from the extensive resources and over 20 years of experience of the Tınaztepe Health Group, the largest health group in İzmir. All four hospitals of the Tınaztepe Health Group are integrated into the educational process, providing students with unparalleled clinical training opportunities from their earliest years of study.
İZTÜ began its educational activities in the 2020-2021 academic year and awarded its first graduates in June 2022 from the Vocational School of Health Services and the Graduate School. The university currently consists of three faculties, one vocational school, and one graduate education institute, all designed around a student-centered, practice-oriented educational philosophy.
