Textile and Fashion Design (Non-Thesis)

The language of education for the Non- Thesis Master's Program in Textile and Fashion Design, which started accepting students in the Fall semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year, is Turkish.

The Textile and Fashion Design Non-Thesis Master's Program aims to train designers who can produce contemporary, creative and original designs for the textile, ready-to-wear and fashion sectors, who can evaluate pioneering ideas that can create fashion, and who know materials and production techniques. The course curriculum has been created with an approach that aims to enable students to develop their personal characteristics and talents, and to offer creative and original suggestions with syntheses suitable for their personalities by establishing relationships between form, color, material, structure and function. Program students take the disciplines of weaving, printing and clothing design in parallel. Our education program nourishes the disciplines of weaving, printing and clothing design and the branch of fashion design in artistic, cultural, professional and technical aspects. Our students graduate as a result of the jury evaluation of their graduation project work, which they carry out under the supervision of a faculty member.

At the end of the education, students who meet the conditions specified in the Istinye University Postgraduate Education and Training Regulation and successfully complete the credit courses and graduation project are awarded a non-thesis master's degree in Textile and Fashion Design.
