Health Management (TR)

The Department of Health Management offers a 4-year undergraduate education. The language of education is Turkish. The goal of the Department of Health Management is to train innovative, strategically oriented and ethically committed professional health managers who will lead the design, operation, performance evaluation and problem solving of health institutions that contribute to the basic purpose of protecting, improving and developing the health level of individuals and society.

Gains of the Department

Students graduating from our program are competent to understand, evaluate and direct the functioning of the health system and its subsystems.

They gain knowledge about the factors related to the development of community and individual health.

In addition, our graduates are equipped to analyze and evaluate theoretical and practical knowledge and related developments in health management using scientific methods and techniques and computer software, develop innovative solution proposals and apply them in health institutions and organizations. 

Our program is designed to train our students to be able to follow developments in their field by using grammar, health terminology and a foreign language at an adequate level in written and oral communication, and to be able to communicate with colleagues and external parties via information and communication technologies.

Our program, which aims to graduate technically skilled graduates as well as graduates with social responsibility and sustainability awareness, trains leaders who are sensitive to health problems in the country and around the world, develop solution proposals that will maximize social benefit, act in accordance with social, scientific and professional ethical principles, and are knowledgeable about legal regulations related to the field of health management through both course content and in-university seminars and social responsibility activities.
