Sociology

Sociology is a discipline that tries to clarify such issues based on scientific research. People who receive sociology education have the opportunity to more closely recognize and analyze the cultural, economic, religious and political structures of societies, especially their own societies, the values, factors and processes that form and/or change and transform these structures, and how human behavior is shaped. Therefore, sociology education is an education that those who are interested in society and social problems should receive.

Opportunities Offered to Students:

• Opportunity to learn a foreign language (Free),
• Opportunity to do a minor (with scholarship during the normal education period of the major program),
• Opportunity to do a double major (scholarship during the normal education period of the Double Major program),
• Opportunity to study abroad through international exchange programs (1 or 2 semesters),
• Opportunity to continue postgraduate programs after graduation.

Career Opportunities:

Graduates of the department can teach Sociology, Logic and Psychology in public and private schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, provided that they meet the necessary requirements.

Students who successfully complete the program can apply for master's and doctoral degrees in the field of Sociology Science or other branches of science that accept students from this field.
