Nutrition and Dietetics (Turkish) - Non-Thesis

Purpose of the Program

The aim of the Nutrition and Dietetics Master's Program is to train scientific experts who are equipped with the knowledge, skills and sensitivity to analyze social problems in the field of nutrition and to create the necessary nutrition plans and policies for solution; who are competent to provide special counseling and nutrition education to individuals by determining the physiological, psychological, economic and sociological factors in their food choices; who are equipped to supervise, manage and organize food preparation and cooking units in hospitals and other health institutions and all institutions providing mass nutrition services; who have experience in researching and developing the effects of nutrients on human health and consumption levels; who can create the necessary infrastructure for the functions of dietary factors that are suitable for changing living conditions, promote health, prevent disease and are effective in treatment; who can follow developments in the academic field; and who are equipped with high-level knowledge and skills to meet the needs of the twenty-first century.

Content of the Program

The Non-Thesis Program consists of a total course load of 30 credits (10 courses) and a non-credit graduation project.

• Military Status Certificate for Male Candidates
• 1 passport size photo
• Residence and Criminal Record (E-Government)
• For Graduates from Universities Abroad; Original or certified copy of the equivalence certificate received from the Council of Higher Education and/or a certificate of recognition issued by the Council of Higher Education.
• Filling out the TC Istanbul Okan University Master's Degree application form
• (If you bring the originals, there is no need for notary approval, we will make the originals.)
