Child Development

It is a four-semester higher education program that aims to train individuals who provide music, art, drama, gymnastics, and computer training to children who receive treatment in preschool and special education institutions and in the playrooms of children's clinics, and who apply first aid rules, and who have the necessary knowledge and skills. The language of education of the program is Turkish.

In addition to its theoretical content, intensive application systems; film screenings and discussions, seminars, conferences and interviews with experts in the field, cultural tours, and a young and dynamic expert staff, our students will graduate as self-confident, responsible individuals who are aware of work safety and ethics, far beyond the demands that work life increases every day, with the up-to-date and intensive applied education they receive. 

In our Istanbul Kültür University Child Development Program, the external internship is 40 working days. The 4 kindergartens affiliated with Kültür Colleges offer our students ample opportunities to do continuous internships and increase their professional experience.

The Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) is conducted by ÖSYM for successful students who graduate from Vocational Schools Programs to make vertical transfers to formal education undergraduate programs.

Our graduates of Istanbul Kültür University Child Development Program can easily transfer to Kindergarten Teaching, Child Development and Education Teaching, and Preschool Teaching Undergraduate Programs with the proficiency they achieve in the vertical transfer exam, thanks to the course programs compatible with the 4-year faculty departments.
