Textile and Fashion Design (Thesis)
Beykent University, Turkey
The thesis‑based Master of Textile and Fashion Design program aims to educate innovative designers who possess both the artistic vision and technical consciousness necessary to apply advanced knowledge, contemporary methods, and cutting‑edge techniques to their personal design processes, ultimately presenting their creative work with integrity and professionalism to society. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to cultivate highly skilled designers and future educators who are capable of carefully observing target audiences and their evolving needs, generating effective and sustainable solutions for societal textile and fashion demands, developing original and distinctive design identities, and consistently following innovative trends in materials, production technologies, and digital design tools. Through intensive studio work, material research, historical and cultural studies, and hands‑on project development, students learn to integrate ethical, environmental, and aesthetic considerations into their creative practice.
