The Bachelor of Arts in Sport at AWFiS Gdańsk is designed for students who want to combine an active sports career with in-depth academic knowledge across multiple dimensions of sport. Located in the scenic Gdańsk-Oliwa district, the program provides access to purpose-built laboratories for sport and exercise physiology, biomechanics, health psychology, and qualitative research, along with 5 outdoor sports fields, 13 gyms, 2 sports halls, a swimming pool, and 5 specialized laboratories.
The curriculum blends practical coaching expertise with theoretical foundations in sports science, entrepreneurship, management, and marketing in sport. AWFiS Gdańsk (officially known as Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport, or GUPES) is the only sports university in the Pomerania region of Poland.
