Curriculum and Module Structure

The 120 ECTS curriculum is organized into ten modules across four consecutive phases, each lasting one semester. This innovative structure ensures a gradual acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies while offering flexibility in thematic specialization and mobility across partner universities.

Sustainability Foundations

10 ECTS

Introduces core concepts in sustainability science, policy, and practice. You will explore key developments and frameworks that underpin global sustainability challenges.

Social Innovation

10 ECTS

Focuses on developing social innovation skills and entrepreneurial thinking. You learn to design and lead projects that address societal challenges through creative, collaborative approaches.

Transdisciplinary Research

10 ECTS

Equips you with advanced research methods that integrate perspectives from multiple disciplines. You develop the ability to address complex global challenges from diverse stakeholder and cultural viewpoints.

Thematic Track Modules (Flexible Phase)

30 ECTS

Choose one of four thematic tracks — Food, Water, Life and Health, or Energy and Sustainable Cities — each consisting of three specialized modules that deepen your expertise in your chosen sustainability domain.

Experiential Phase (Internship)

30 ECTS

Undertake a professional internship at organizations such as private companies, public institutions, NGOs, or research laboratories. This phase provides hands-on experience and helps build your professional network in the sustainability sector.

Capstone Project
