Program Overview: PPE at the University of Warwick

The Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) BSc at the University of Warwick is one of the largest and most international PPE programmes in the UK. This interdisciplinary degree integrates perspectives from philosophy, politics and economics to help you understand major global challenges such as climate change, inequality and international justice.

After building solid foundations in all three disciplines during your first year, you gain the flexibility to tailor your module choices to suit your own interests and career aspirations. You can choose from six pathways in your second year, including tripartite and bipartite options, and select the BSc route by focusing more heavily on quantitative and economics modules.

Warwick's unique bridge model connects the three disciplines rather than studying them in isolation, encouraging you to explore how philosophy, politics and economics interact to shape real-world decision-making. You also have the opportunity to apply for a year abroad with international partner universities or undertake a professional work placement.
