The Law with French LLB at the University of Warwick allows you to develop an excellent understanding of core legal principles of English law and foundations of the French legal system, equipping you for the demands of a global legal market. This four-year degree includes an integral year abroad studying French law at a partner university in France and is aimed at those with a strong grasp of the French language.
You will examine the law from a modern, international and critical perspective, gaining insight into the impact of cultural, economic and political developments on legal systems. The program develops advanced legal, research, independent learning and writing skills, enabling you to become a confident communicator in both English and French.
During your first two years at Warwick, you will gain a thorough grounding in English law while studying French language modules to prepare for your year abroad. Your third year is spent at one of Warwick's partner universities in France, which currently include institutions in Paris, Bordeaux, Strasbourg or Lille, before returning to Warwick for your final year.
