Program Overview: MSc Creative Technologies at Southampton
The MSc Creative Technologies is a multidisciplinary program based at Winchester School of Art (WSA), a part of the University of Southampton and one of only a few specialist art schools within the Russell Group. This program is designed to equip you with both the creative and technical skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving arts and technology sectors.
You will develop your creative and technical abilities in systems thinking and design by undertaking projects where you design and build immersive digital experiences. These experiences go beyond traditional digital screen formats to include fabrication, textiles, 3D printing, virtual reality, augmented reality, and robotics.
At WSA, you will be part of a collaborative creative community that makes it easy to work across subject areas. You will gain industry exposure through guest lectures, live project briefs, and opportunities to engage with partners such as IBM and Moving Brands, preparing you for a successful career at the intersection of art and technology.
