Overview
To achieve this specialist LLM course, you will study compulsory modules designed to provide you with a firm foundation from which to complete your studies. You will also be able to select a further two optional modules to complement your studies and legal interests. You’ll learn through a mix of lectures, workshops, tutorials and self-directed study. Lectures are delivered both in person and online, complemented by workshops that put the law into real-world contexts and help you develop skills such as case argument and public speaking.
You’ll be assessed in various ways - from essays and reports to presentations, posters, and in-class tests - so you can show your strengths in a variety of formats.
During the dissertation stage you’ll complete an 18,000-word dissertation with support from an academic supervisor, allowing you to explore a topic of your choice in depth.
