The aim of the training is to educate agricultural engineers with agricultural, technical and economic knowledge. Their skills are based on general scientific knowledge, on knowledge of the European Union, and on an appropriate level of practical knowledge. Engineers are able to direct agricultural production, to adopt technological processes in a given farm as necessary, as well as to introduce new technologies. They recognize the roles to be filled in the food chain. In their work, they seek and prioritize solutions that promote the health of society and individuals, while also protecting the environment. They are prepared to continue their studies for a master's degree. In addition to traditional agricultural technologies, our aim at the University of Nyíregyháza is to introduce the conditions of innovative ecological farming, landscape management, agri-environmental management, water management and rural development, as well as the technologies of sustainable crop production, horticulture and animal husbandry.
