Duna is an international college in Budapest-Hungary in the heart of Europe, established in 2010. The College was established and operates in association with prominent university professors from Hungarian state universities. Duna College runs preparatory programs for the applicants who wish to continue their studies at our partner universities in Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Italy, the UK, the USA and Canada in 2 different pathways called DRC and TRC. \n\n

Count István Tisza Foundation for the University of Debrecen and the University of Debrecen recognized the work of researchers of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Debrecen with a Publication Award for their efforts examining Newton's Law of Cooling and, among other things, further developing the statements of the physicist who lived 300 years ago through a formula that is more easily understandable than the one used so far. The researchers presented their findings in the International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer.\n

Eötvös Loránd University, the oldest continuously operating university in Hungary, was founded in the rural town of Nagyszombat in 1635 by Cardinal Péter Pázmány. It serves the interests of research and first-rate higher education rooted in European tradition.\nThe mission of ELTE is to preserve and increase national and universal culture and literacy, to cultivate scholarship, to pass on scientific knowledge, and to express and fulfil the substantive, long-term needs of Hungarian society and of Humanity as a whole.

The history of higher education in Pécs dates back to 1367, when Louis the Great initiated the establishment of a university in the episcopal city of Pécs. As a result of an integration process of several stages, the University of Pécs was founded, which has become one of the most famous, prestigious institutions having a leading role in regional education. It has ten faculties which cover the full spectrum of high-quality higher education.

The predecessor of the University of Miskolc is the Mining and Metallurgy School (Bergschule), founded in 1735 in Selmecbánya, which was the first school in the world to offer higher education in mining and metallurgy.

Budapest College of Communication was established in 2000, with state accreditation. It has provided higher educational, adult educational and advanced vocational training courses of a high international and European Union standard in the field of applied communication and business sciences since 2001.

Founded in 1994, the Budapest campus of McDaniel College reflected McDaniel College alumnus George Varga’s dream of adding a liberal arts presence to the rich higher education landscape of his native Hungary.
