During engineering studies, the students gain understanding of system management principles in industrial engineering and practical skills in provision and improvement of technical processes of manufacturing. The management science courses provide students with knowledge on management principles and human resources management, entrepreneurship organization, management of innovations and efficiency, as well as performance of necessary economic calculations. The students learn principles of organization performance quality and efficiency, which include LEAN philosophy (prudent management methods) and methods that are used by the world’s leading industrial companies. The acquired knowledge will allow the programme alumni - system management engineer - to understand functionality of industrial company system and to provide strategically justified decision making.
