City Planning MSc

This is a graduate-entry postgraduate programme, open to applicants who already hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field. The City Planning MSc at the University of Glasgow is a dynamic, RTPI-accredited programme designed for the next generation of "sustainable place makers." The latter is particularly relevant for the modern era, exploring how AI and Urban Analytics are revolutionizing city management. You will work on complex sites across Glasgow, treating the city as a living laboratory to test theories of "Smart Cities" and resilience.

The programme includes an optional field trip to London (visiting projects like The Shard) and offers a choice between a traditional dissertation or a practice-based major research project. Graduates are highly sought after by international consultancies like ARUP and WSP for their ability to blend spatial design with data-driven strategy.
