Psychology: Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy
Ludwigstraße 23, 35390 , Germany
Overview
With the Master's degree, graduates fulfill the prerequisites for the state examination and can apply for admission to the State Examination Office. With the state examination, the license to practice medicine is obtained. The state examination takes place (as before) independently of the universities. The contents of the study programme correspond to the contents of the Approbation Regulations, so that the Master's programme conveys not only in-depth methodological and scientific knowledge, but also theoretical knowledge and, in particular, psychotherapeutic and professional practice skills, with due regard for patient safety and patient rights. The programme prepares students for independent work in selected professional fields with a clinical-psychological and psychotherapeutic focus, especially in health and social services, but also in the scientific field.
