The Master of Arts in Psychological Research (MAPR) at Texas State University is designed to foster competence in the methodological foundations and conduct of psychological research across a wide variety of settings. Curriculum and Modules
The MAPR program requires the completion of 38 semester credit hours, consisting of 20 hours of core courses (including six thesis hours for the thesis track) and 18 hours of electives. At least 12 hours of elective credit must come from courses offered by the Department of Psychology, with outside electives requiring consent from the program director.
