Psychology

As to that the studies the Master programme in Psychology imparts in-depth methodological and scientific knowledge as well as professional and research-practical competences. It prepares students for supervisory and independent work in various professional areas (health and social services, education, science, administration, industry, the legal system). The Master in Psychology also gives all its students the possibility to design their studies in such a way as to fulfil the requirements for further postgraduate education in the general area of psychology, and particularly for further education in the field of psychotherapy and for a doctorate.

Since winter semester 2011/12 JLU offers a structured, study-related programme preparing students for doctoral studies ("PreProPsych").
