Overview
You will study a selection of core and optional modules. Each module is worth a number of credits and is delivered differently depending on its content and focus of study.This list is indicative and subject to change. This module helps you learn to study at master’s level, introduces you to employability on a global scale and supports you to develop a feasible dissertation proposal. Here you will look at different management styles and leadership traits. This module also explores cultural differences to help you navigate a global platform. This module explores management and accounting for corporations as well as financial management, corporate objectives, market efficiency and investment appraisal techniques. Cultural differences in marketing campaigns and the impact of digital marketing on a global workspace all support you in managing marketing needs in the future. How do humans behave? What does NIMBY actually mean? How do you value a tree? By looking at various behaviour traits we can see how our behaviour impacts on many business decisions. This module links closely with local business to help solve specific issues in topics of marketing, management and leadership. You will learn the importance of strategy and how taking a strategic approach can benefit the sustainability of decisions. Your Management Project takes place during your last semester. You will work individually with a personal tutor to carry out and report on your own original research. You could focus on any aspect of international business. The course is one year. Semester one starts with an induction at the end of September. Semester two begins in early February. The dissertation is carried out over the summer and is due early in September.
