The MSc Health Psychology at the University of Chichester is a British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited programme that fulfils Stage 1 of the two-stage process to become a Chartered Health Psychologist. Established in 2021 and commended by the BPS in July 2022, this research-based course provides you with an extensive overview of health psychology theories, methods, and research, equipping you with the skills needed for an independent health psychology research project.

Upon graduation, you will be eligible to progress to Stage 2 doctoral-level training, which leads to Chartered Psychologist status with the BPS and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Health Psychologist. Admission Requirements

The MSc Health Psychology is an accredited professional course with specific entry requirements. To be considered for admission, you must demonstrate the academic background and professional motivation necessary for Stage 1 health psychology training.
