Faculty of Social Science

The Faculty of Social Science offers a wide range of disciplines through its various sections/teaching and research fields. Students can choose between the one-subject Bachelor of Arts Social Science and the two-subject programs Culture, Individual and Society and Politics, Economy and Society. The guiding principle is the close linking of the individual social science disciplines as well as a mutually complementary both academically oriented and application-oriented education. The bachelor's and master's degree programs in the social science (one-subject) are characterized by a clear, interdisciplinary academic and research-methodological orientation. The focus in the two-subject model is more strongly subject and professional field oriented.
