Overview
The Master of Science in Animal and Comparative Biomedical Sciences provides the opportunity to perform research that spans from molecular biology to meat and dairy production to the business of horse racing. This broad range of interests prepares you for careers in academia, the pharmaceutical industry, animal production or the racetrack industry. You have two options for earning your M.S.: 1) the Traditional M.S., which requires conducting research and presenting a formal thesis; and 2) the Non-thesis M.S. in Racetrack Industry, which is business-based and prepares you for careers in horse racing/breeding. Both can be a path to a Ph.D.
Graduate College Admissions Requirements
Minimum graduate admissions requirements* for Master’s and Doctoral degree seeking:
