Program Overview: Master in Production Management, Logistics, Purchasing
The Master GPLA (Gestion de Production, Logistique, Achats) at Université d'Aix-Marseille is a two-year program designed to prepare graduates for clearly identified careers in supply chain management. It offers a broad range of specializations covering operations management, including purchasing-procurement, logistics, distribution, and the management of organizations associated with flow management.
The program covers all the functions grouped under the term supply chain management, addressing both core business activities of industrial, commercial, and service companies, as well as support activities. Each track has been designed to follow and even anticipate the evolution of logistics professions, integrating technological advances and new downstream-driven constraints such as agility, reliability, and sustainability.
Hosted at the Faculty of Economics and Management on the Aix-en-Provence campus, the program benefits from strong partnerships with the CRET-LOG research laboratory, one of the leading logistics research centers in France. Students gain hands-on experience through supply chain simulations, company-proposed logistics projects, and a six-month professional internship that can take place abroad.
