Energy Engineering and Environment

The mission of a MSc Energy Engineering and Environment program is to educate and prepare students for careers in the field of Energy and Environmental Sustainability, with a focus on the production, from traditional and renewable energy sources, energy transmission and distribution as well as utilization sustainable and energy efficient, paying attention to the Environment. This program aims to provide a strong knowledge base in the principles of energy and environmental engineering to prepare personnel with the necessary skills to address current and future energy challenges. The mission of the MSc Energy Engineering and Environment program is to provide graduates with a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, preparing them for careers in the field of energy engineering and environment. It covers essential aspects such as power systems, sustainable energy production, transmission, distribution, smart grids and environment issues. Students will develop a proficient and high-quality scientific understanding of Energy Engineering and Environmental impacts throughout the program developing the growth of creative problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and teamwork skills crucial for success in energy and environment professions. The MSc Energy Engineering and Environment program is strategically designed to prepare students with the expertise needed to navigate the complexities of designing, promoting, and implementing both traditional and renewable energy solutions and their impacts in environment. It also prepares them to adapt to the dynamic changes in the industry, considering factors specific to Kosovo, the Region, and beyond. As a specific factor, the average age of about 60 years in the Energy Corporation of Kosovo – KEK can be mentioned.
