Overview
The aim of the program is to equip participants with elementary language skills useful in everyday life. During the course of study the participants will practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing, which will allow them to express themselves and communicate freely in English, in daily social situations.s). Participants learn in an international environment, which gives them an additional opportunity to practice English skills during informal interactions with each other. This level is designed for intermediate users of English who need to improve their English language competencies in order to enter a degree program at SWPS University. The program focuses on equipping the participants with language and basic academic skills, necessary for successful progress through their degree program(s). Participants learn in an international environment, which gives them an additional opportunity to practice English skills during informal interactions with each other. The program offers a modern and practical approach to language learning, which ensures that course participants quickly improve their English skills. Classes take place Monday to Thursday, so on Fridays particpants can either attend Polish Prep School or participate in other events at SWPS University. We use Oxford University Press Coursebooks (cost included in the course fee). Each group is taught by two teachers so that you can experience different accents and teaching methods. We conduct periodic assessments, which show participants their progress and indicate areas for improvement. Upon successful completion of the course and achieving a passing grade from the final exam, participants receive language proficiency certificates that open doors to further education in English, at the university level.
