The Master’s Degree in Genetic Counselling is the first program of its kind in Italy, specifically designed to train the professional figure of the genetic counsellor. Entirely focused on bridging scientific knowledge with patient-centered care, the program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of clinical, medical, and laboratory genetics.

Genetic counsellors are non-medical health professionals who play a pivotal role in modern healthcare systems. Lectures provide the scientific foundations of human genetics, genomics, and molecular biology, as well as essential knowledge in psychology, bioethics, and communication skills.
