Primary School Teacher

Starting in the winter semester of 2025/26, RWTH Aachen University, in cooperation with the University of Wuppertal, will offer the new Bachelor's degree program in Primary School Teaching. The program is future-oriented and practice-oriented, combining sound scientific foundations with direct practical experience. RWTH Aachen University is responsible for basic mathematical education and general education, drawing on interdisciplinary perspectives from the natural sciences, technology, and humanities. The University of Wuppertal is responsible for educational sciences and basic language skills. This creates a joint study concept that closely links theory and practice. The study location is Aachen. Modern teaching and learning spaces are being created on the RWTH campus for the new primary school teaching students, supporting a contemporary education. The university environment is characterized by a dynamic university community and diverse opportunities for networking and collaboration.
