Curriculum and Modules

The Welsh and History BA (Hons) is structured as a joint honours degree, combining modules from Welsh language and literature with modules in history. Teaching includes approximately 12 hours of lectures, seminars and tutorials each week, supplemented by guided study involving reading, research, essay writing and tutorial presentations.

Introduction to Welsh Literature

An introductory study of Welsh literary traditions from the medieval period to the present day, including key texts such as the Mabinogion and works of contemporary Welsh authors.

History of Wales
