The Product Design (Welsh Medium) BSc curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with practical, industry-focused projects. You will study human-centred design and design thinking methodologies while working on live briefs with industrial partners throughout your three-year degree.

Introduction to Product Design

Foundational module exploring what product design is, covering design principles, creative processes, and an introduction to the design and manufacture of products across various sectors.

Human-Centred Design

Study human-centred design methodologies, learning to research and understand user needs, develop creative ideas, and translate those ideas into practical, user-focused product designs.

Design Thinking and Innovation

Explore design thinking strategies and innovation processes used in industry, developing your ability to think strategically and creatively to solve real-world problems.

Materials and Manufacturing Processes

Industrial Work Placement

Admission Requirements
