Munich Business School (MBS) is a private, state-recognised university founded in 1991 by the European Business Schools International (ebsi) in London, Paris, Madrid, and Milan. Originally named Europäische Betriebswirtschafts-Akademie (eba), the institution was renamed Munich Business School in 2003 and became the first private university in Bavaria to receive state accreditation in 1999.
