First Professional Practice Placement

This module involves completing 70 days of social work practice within an approved organisation, providing direct practice experience working with service users, carers, and members of the public under the supervision of a Practice Educator.

Contemporary Issues in Social Work

Building on the Social Work Law and Practice Placement modules, this module highlights the legal, ethical, and value debates affecting various areas of practice, including adult and child safeguarding.

Final Professional Practice Placement

This module involves completing 100 practice learning days within an approved organisation with opportunities for direct practice, including statutory social work tasks, enabling you to meet the Professional Capabilities Framework at the End of Last Placement level.
