The Digital Communication program aims to train communication professionals responsible for developing digital communication strategies. It trains students in the development and implementation of digital marketing, e-advertising, and relational communication on social media. It provides in-depth knowledge of Internet and mobile technologies to generate traffic on digital devices and use it for communication activities. It also trains students in techniques for managing connected communities, branding, and digital reputation.
The courses in the digital communication program are made up of a common core and specific teaching units.
The common core aims to develop skills that are transversal to the different courses in the specialization and shared in particular with the integrated communication management program also taught at the University of Lyon 3: epistemology of CIS, sociology of organizations, corporate communication, digital economy and society, non-media communication, practices and uses of social networks, problematization of the dissertation, media and agencies, advertising and media planning, survey methods in social sciences, research issues in organizational communication, brand communication strategies, communication audit, entrepreneurship, sustainable development, community involvement, sports involvement, English.
The specific courses in the course aim to develop specialized skills in digital communication: digital marketing, internet and mobile technologies (websites and applications), specificities of digital communication, e-advertising, digital content (design, production, implementation), web marketing (traffic creation and SEO), digital players, community management, digital image and reputation, digital companies (lifestyles and consumption), measurement and evaluation (audience, exposure, impact), developments and trends (big data, mobile marketing, etc.), project management.
