Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation

The “Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation” department, opened within the Faculty of Health Sciences of Izmir Tınaztepe University, is a 4-year undergraduate program prepared for this purpose. The aim of the department is to train physiotherapists who have a lifelong learning approach, are open to innovations, follow technological and scientific developments, can put theoretical knowledge into practice , apply the most accurate evaluation and application program, can develop projects for the benefit of society, observe ethical values, are questioning, contemporary, respectful of human rights, and have knowledge and skills. Students who successfully graduate from the department receive a bachelor's degree and the title of physiotherapist. Izmir Tınaztepe University is a "health-themed" educational institution with a student focus. Applied education and research opportunities are offered in four hospitals with high patient density within the Tınaztepe Health Group. With our expert teaching and implementing staff, we are expecting our students to our "Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation" department in order to train graduates who are competent in their fields and ready for working life, and to provide educational environments where they can present their projects in the scientific field.
