Public Relations and Advertising is the way for institutions and organizations to communicate with their stakeholders, the media and the society; and to effectively manage their brand and reputation. Our globalizing world, rapidly changing and developing communication technologies and the world of communication that is becoming more and more important every day, necessitate effective management of every area of ​​communication. At this point, the aim of the department is to train Public Relations and Advertising experts, who have taken their place as one of the important professions of the future, in a way that they will be competent in both local and global platforms.

As the Istinye University Public Relations and Advertising Department, our mission is to train public relations and advertising experts who can easily adapt to the changing conditions in the rapidly changing and evolving world of communication, who can analyze communication tools well, manage them effectively, produce solutions for the needs of society, have a socially responsible and ethical business approach, and who have adopted the principle of lifelong learning.

Graduates of the Department of Public Relations and Advertising have a wide range of work areas. Students who graduate from the department; National and International Private Companies, Public Institutions, Media and Broadcasting Organizations, International Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations operating in various sectors; Corporate Communication, Public Relations, Advertising, Strategic Marketing Communication, Brand Management, Corporate Responsibility departments have the opportunity to work. In addition, they can work as strategic planner, researcher, creative copywriter, art director, advertising director in Media and Public Relations agencies, customer representative in the customer relations department, brand representative, campaign manager, project director; Content producer and manager in social media agencies; Strategic communicator in market research companies. Students who continue their education in the field they want to specialize in have the opportunity to shape their careers as communication consultants or academics.
