Child Development (Tur)

The mission of the Child Development Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences of Istinye University is to define the mental, language, motor, self-care, social and emotional developments of children between the ages of 0-18 who are typically developing, have special needs, are in need of protection, live in institutions, work, refugees and delinquents or receive inpatient or outpatient treatment in hospitals by adding observations based on professional knowledge and experience to the data obtained from scientific and up-to-date tools, and to provide developmental, educational and special support programs appropriate to the special needs of the child in theory and practice to the child and the family.

Our aim is to train "Child Development Specialists" who are contemporary, professionally and scientifically competent, who provide services to other professionals and society, who consider the best interests of the child, who have the ability to develop and improve themselves throughout life, and who respect human rights.
