Industrial Engineering

The term industry in Industrial Engineering should not be considered in the industrial sense. Initially, it was named as an engineering branch that developed in manufacturing systems, but today it has become an engineering branch that works for the efficient and high-quality production of all kinds of systems that produce products, services and information.

Industrial engineers have the opportunity to work in all sectors. They take part in all stages from product development to reaching the customer. The aim of industrial engineering is to ensure profitability, effectiveness, efficiency, flexibility, sensitivity and high quality. Continuous development of processes related to products and services is included in this program. In order to achieve these results, Industrial Engineers acquire competencies in basic sciences, management sciences, computer sciences, human and social sciences and contemporary communication skills.
