Urban Design (Thesis)

The aim of the Urban Design Master’s Degree with Thesis is to provide the candidates who wants to specialise on urban based environment with the up-to-date and sufficient knowledge enough to intervene the urban environment and to develop the application ability through design methods and techniques with their urban design projects. Within this context the main goals of this program include; to increase the methodological and theoretical information level about the urban design, to develop the application ability for the enhance the spatial quality of the urban areas, to follow the abroad applications and developments with the co-operational work, to provide the necessary skills and information infrastructure about the definition of the problem and solution of it. In the program where current developments are followed; The urban structure, which essentially has a complex network of relationships, is analyzed mainly in public spaces and is questioned and reshaped in the light of basic data and examples about the city.
