Bakırköy Campus, Turkey
Overview
The students of the School of Justice at İKÜ are primarily taught by the experienced faculty members of the İKÜ Faculty of Law, which has the largest academic staff in Turkey. Since they are located in the same campus and building with the Faculty of Law, they have the opportunity to benefit from many opportunities of the Faculty of Law and various activities such as symposiums and conferences organized both nationally and internationally. In order for students of the Vocational School of Justice to gain the basic knowledge and skills they need in the best way possible, they receive training from our valuable Judges and Prosecutors in addition to taking courses such as keyboard and computer lessons from faculty members who are experts in their fields. On the other hand, they also have the opportunity to take practical lessons from experienced Notaries and Police Department officers. Both compulsory and elective courses are designed for students to reach the ideal level in their professions.
In order for students to see the judicial organization on site and make professional observations, visits are made to various units within the judicial organization, and Certificate Programs are organized where expert and experienced faculty members, Judges and Prosecutors provide training. On the other hand, students are provided with the opportunity to do internships both within the judicial organization and in the private sector and law offices.
