Banking and Insurance

In the İKÜ Banking and Insurance Program, education is provided in a way that will enable students to master the basic principles of banking and insurance, to know the national and world economy, to be proficient in business matters, to have sufficient knowledge and internship practice in the subjects related to their profession. Thanks to this education process, individuals who are well-equipped in their profession are trained by closely following innovations related to their sector and gaining the ability to apply them and having the ability to establish customer relations effectively.

A protocol has been signed between Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School and GESİD (General Insurance Association). Within the framework of the cooperation, GESİD mediates the students' workplace practice course and internship finding activities. The members to be assigned by the GESİD Board of Directors assist the students of the IKU Banking and Insurance Program in educational cooperation by giving conferences introducing the profession in the determined meetings and classes.

In addition, students of the IKU Banking and Insurance Program have the opportunity to continue their higher education at the undergraduate level by taking the Vertical Transfer Exam after completing their associate degree education.
