The University of Montpellier brings together nearly 5,100 staff, including around 3,000 permanent staff identified within two main job families:
- teaching staff, researchers and lecturers
- library, engineering, administrative, technical, social and health staff (BIATSS)
By publishing its charter for Open, Transparent and Merit-based Recruitment (OTM-R) within the framework of the European label “HR Excellence in Research”, the University of Montpellier has chosen to report on this approach and the recruitment processes in force within the UM with regard to researchers and all of the establishment's staff.
