Nutrition and Dietetics (English)

Department Goal

1. To train nutrition and diet experts who produce nutritional information at national and international levels and use this information in the development of the field of nutrition and dietetics. 
2. To train nutrition and diet experts who contribute to the country in the fields of protecting human health and curing diseases in line with evidence-based scientific principles regarding nutrition and nutrients. 
3. The aim of this program is to develop nutrition policies and train nutrition and diet experts who enable public and private sector organizations to operate at world standards. 
4. To train qualified, highly professionally equipped dietitians.

Career Opportunities

A dietitian is a person who has completed at least four years of higher education in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics, and has earned the title of Dietitian with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. Dietitians can complete master's and doctorate programs after their undergraduate education and receive the titles of Specialist Dietitian and Doctor of Dietetics.
