The MA in Managing Educational Institutions (Thesis) at Ibn Haldun University is designed to equip students with the skills required for conducting scientific research, as well as analyzing and interpreting knowledge in the field of educational leadership. Curriculum & Modules
The curriculum balances theory, management skills, and research across four semesters. The first year covers core coursework and the second year is dedicated to thesis preparation and an internship placement. Students explore topics including best practices in 21st-century education, leadership, educational management and evaluation, data-driven improvement, and innovation in education.
Covers the nature, steps, key concepts, ethical codes, and types of scientific research. Examines qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research comparatively with examples from the educational management field.
Examines the role of education in the transformation and modernization of Turkey, including basic education laws, foreign expert reports, and the evolution of educational policy.
Examines crucial issues facing higher education administration, including curriculum, governance, finance, mission, and the influence of technology and public policy on reform.
Equips students with knowledge and skills to lead departments, organizations, and school districts in strategic planning for a constantly changing environment. Emphasis is placed on the components and discipline of strategic planning and implementation.
Covers higher education legislation, student services including records, attendance monitoring, transfers, examinations, discipline, and graduation procedures, as well as non-academic learning opportunities in student affairs.
