Curriculum and Modules
The MSc Sport Psychology curriculum covers eight taught courses across two semesters, followed by an independent research project in the third semester. The programme includes professional practice, research methods, and thematic courses exploring psychology across different sporting contexts.
This module introduces the foundations of professional practice in sport and exercise psychology, covering ethical frameworks, reflective practice, and equality, diversity and inclusion principles essential for future practitioners.

Examines the unique psychological challenges faced by individual sport athletes, covering topics such as self-regulation, motivation, concentration, and coping with the pressures of solo competition.
Provides foundational training in research design and analysis methods used in sport and exercise psychology, preparing you to critically evaluate literature and design your own research studies.
