The Master in Landscape Architecture (M.L.A.) at Harvard's Graduate School of Design is an accredited professional degree housed within the oldest landscape architecture program in the world, founded in 1893. Curriculum and Modules
The MLA I curriculum is structured across six semesters (three years), with a rigorous four-semester core followed by two semesters of advanced studios and electives. Admission Requirements
Admission to the Harvard GSD Master in Landscape Architecture program is highly competitive. The MLA I is intended for individuals who hold a bachelor's degree in any field other than the design professions. Those with a professional degree in architecture or a pre-professional degree in landscape architecture may qualify for advanced standing (MLA I AP, 2 years).
