Graphic Design

You'll learn from experienced faculty with professional backgrounds in graphic design, packaging, photography, and illustration. You will access up-to-date technologies based on current and future trends, including software, hardware, studios, and printing. Engage in a collaborative environment with dynamic studio projects for both in-class and real-world clients. There is also a field placement opportunity in the third year to reinforce professional industry standards. With enrolment into our program, you will have a membership in the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD), which provides access to Toronto's annual DesignThinkers conference and a variety of resources on the RGD website. As a Conestoga graphic design graduate, you will be prepared for junior-level design positions in graphic design studios, advertising agencies, in-house communication departments, and technology-based companies. Your knowledge of design thinking, research, process, and practical skills can be used to plan and create visual design in collaboration with colleagues, supervisors, art or creative directors, project managers, and clients.
